33-year-old Marlon Cloutier, an Augusta man, was arrested after an eight-hour standoff in Sidney. Police responded to his family's home at 8:15 a.m., where he was wanted for felony burglary, theft of firearms, and other charges. Nearby residents were evacuated and roads shut down due to recent threats of violence. After more than eight hours of negotiations, Cloutier was taken into custody and is now facing additional charges.
