A Woodland Hills man, Edgar Rodriguez Ruelas, 42, has been convicted of sexually assaulting hikers and sleeping women in Ventura County between June 2017 and March 2020. The attacks involved five female victims and occurred in homes and on hiking trails in Thousand Oaks and Oak Park. Ruelas is facing more than 50 years in state prison when sentenced in June.
