35-year-old Congolese national Puati Poba Dally was arrested in Kenya for allegedly defrauding a Ghanaian businessman of KES 13.1 million in a fake gold scam. Dally posed as "Osuman" from Nigeria and promised Ugandan gold connections. The victim, after paying over KES 10.7 million, discovered the gold was sent to Kenya by mistake and faced extortion for tax clearance by accomplices. Dally was arrested on May 8th at the Busia border.
