Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry (WAF) acquires ATEK Metal Technologies, expanding its capabilities into new markets, including motorsports, transportation, agriculture, and medical. The deal marks WAF's fourth acquisition, with ATEK specializing in low-pressure permanent mold castings and tilt-pour molding. WAF is focused on establishing the northern Midwest as a hub for high-quality aluminum castings and is currently in the midst of a $25 million expansion in Manitowoc.
