US automotive firm BorgWarner opens a new R&D centre in South Korea, aimed at enhancing local automobile industry competitiveness and stabilizing the supply chain. Located in Daegu and investing $43.6m through 2027, the centre will focus on developing integrated driving modules for automobiles. The company has been operating seven production lines in South Korea, employing around 1,400 workers.
