30-year-old woman's inert grenade in luggage leads to Tweed New Haven Airport evacuation.

Tweed New Haven Airport in Connecticut was evacuated after TSA officers found a grenade in a woman's luggage. The woman, who was in her 30s, claimed she found the hollowed-out grenade at a farmhouse and intended to give it as a gift. The New Haven Bomb Squad confirmed that the grenade was inert, and the terminal reopened at 9:20 a.m. The woman was interviewed and allowed to continue traveling.
