Taiwanese tech giant Acer reported a 133.4% year-on-year increase in its Q1 2024 net income, reaching NT$1.20 billion (US$41.5 million). Gross profits grew by 15.5% YoY to NT$6.20 billion, with a 10.5% margin. Operating income rose by 227.4% YoY to NT$781 million, with a 1.3% margin. In the first quarter, businesses outside of computers and displays contributed 29.4% of total revenues and 57.6% of operating income.
