Shake Shack, a popular NY-based burger chain, opens its first Pittsburgh location on May 20 at The Terminal on Smallman Street in the Strip District. The ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place at 10 a.m., with doors opening for customers at 10:30 a.m. A portion of proceeds from May 20 sales will benefit local charity 412 Food Rescue. Another Pittsburgh location is planned for East Liberty, but an opening date has not been set.
