Two San Diego County prisoners, John Patch (30) and Zachary Harris (36), are accused of killing fellow inmate Scott Cook (49) at High Desert State Prison in Northern California. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation reported that Cook sustained multiple stab wounds from two inmate-made weapons. Both Patch and Harris were subsequently moved to a restricted housing unit pending further investigation.
