A pedestrian was killed in a traffic crash on Interstate 24 East near the Tennessee Welcome Center on May 8th at 9:42 p.m., according to the Clarksville Police Department. The eastbound lanes of the interstate were temporarily closed for investigation, and motorists were advised to find alternate routes until the scene could be cleared. The Tennessee Highway Patrol took over the investigation.
