Oscar-winner Russell Crowe to star in action-thriller 'Bear Country', directed by Unhinged's Derrick Borte, based on Thomas Perry's novel 'Strip'.

Oscar winner Russell Crowe is set to reunite with Unhinged director Derrick Borte for an upcoming action-thriller titled Bear Country. Based on the Thomas Perry novel, Strip, the film will see Crowe portray an aging club owner, Manco Kapak, who faces challenges from cartel bosses and a mysterious newcomer after being robbed by a masked gunman. Production is expected to begin in October.
