Nigeria's Port Harcourt, Warri, Kaduna refineries and Dangote Refinery expected to be operational by 2024, aiming to meet domestic fuel demand and boost economy.
Nigeria's Port Harcourt and Warri refineries are expected to be fully operational by end-2024, with Kaduna Refinery operational by year-end, according to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum (Downstream). These refineries, alongside 650,000 bpd Dangote Refinery, aim to meet Nigeria's domestic fuel demand and boost the economy. Ubah also called for establishment of modular refineries to expand domestic crude oil refining capacity.
