New Zealand's electricity supply gets a boost as Meridian's Harapaki wind farm in Hawke's Bay is set for early completion in late July, ahead of the original September 2024 date. The $448 million wind farm was initially affected by Cyclones Hale and Gabrielle, but fast progress and teamwork between Meridian's project team and key suppliers have enabled the early opening. The project is expected to be completed within the initial capital budget.
