Pakistani security forces have killed six militants in twin raids targeting their hideouts in the volatile northwest region bordering Afghanistan. In the first raid, five militants were killed in Dera Ismail Khan district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, while another militant was killed in a former stronghold of the Pakistani Taliban in the North Waziristan district in the northwest. The militants were involved in various previous attacks on security forces.
