A Terrace, B.C., liquor outlet was fined $7,000 for selling a six-pack of vodka drinks to a minor acting as a minor agent for the provincial Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch. The incident occurred on Oct. 18, 2023, when the teen, who was not identified, went into the store and made the purchase without being asked for identification. The inspector issued a notice of non-compliance to the licensee the following day.
