Rowing startup Hydrow acquires a majority stake in AI-enabled strength training company Speede Fitness, as CEO Bruce Smith steps down. Hydrow, aiming to grow in the pandemic-impacted fitness industry, will be led by President and CFO John Stellato. The company, known for its connected rowing machines, has raised $300m and has investors like Activant Capital, Constitution Capital, and L Catterton.
