Goa Assembly Speaker dismisses Congress disqualification petition against Kamat and Lobo for anti-party activities.

Goa Assembly Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar dismissed a disqualification petition filed by Congress against former Chief Minister Digambar Kamat and MLA Michael Lobo, who joined the BJP in 2022. The petition, filed by Goa Congress President Amit Patkar in July 2022, accused the MLAs of anti-party activities. Tawadkar confirmed the dismissal and stated that a detailed order with reasons would be issued later.
