Fremont's shelter-in-place order has been lifted, with authorities confirming a suspect in custody following a "police incident." Residents were instructed to avoid the area between Division and Merchant avenues to Cedar and Maple streets, and those living in the area were advised to stay inside and lock their doors. Fremont Public Schools had a two-hour delay during the incident, with other schools advised to stay away until further notice.
