Chinese electric car company XPeng is set to enter the Australian market by the end of the year, partnering with Australian electric vehicle specialist TrueEV to distribute its G6 coupe-style SUV. Sales of Chinese-built cars in Australia have surged, accounting for nearly 200,000 new car sales last year. XPeng's G6 will offer two-wheel-drive models and an all-wheel-drive dual-motor version, with range estimates of up to 570 kilometers.
