Bangladesh Air Force YAK130 training jet crashes in Chattogram, pilots eject safely but one dies.
A Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) YAK130 training fighter jet crashed in Chattogram's Patenga area due to a mechanical glitch. The two pilots on board safely ejected via parachutes and were rescued. The crash site is being investigated, and divers, firefighters, and sailors are searching for the wreckage of the crashed plane. Squadron Leader Asim Jawad, one of the pilots, later died of his injuries at a hospital.
