100-year-old WWII US veteran, Harold Terens, and his 96-year-old fiancée, Jeanne Swerlin, to marry next month in France, where Terens served during WWII. They will exchange vows in Carentan-les-Marais, near the beaches where thousands of soldiers waded ashore during the D-Day landings in 1944. Terens will be honored on June 6 at a commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy.
