23-year-old UConn fraternity president David Vallejo faces charges including third-degree assault, third-degree strangulation, second-degree unlawful restraint, and disorderly conduct after allegedly hazing and assaulting a pledge during initiation. The victim was forced to recite fraternity code while in push-up position, and when they couldn't get it right, Vallejo allegedly choked them with his forearm. The assault led the victim to leave the fraternity.
