A Dallas priest, Ricardo Reyes Mata, 34, has been arrested on two counts of indecency with a child, according to Garland police. Mata, a priest with the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, allegedly had inappropriate contact with two children after visiting a home in Garland. The diocese immediately filed a report with Child Protective Services and law enforcement, and Mata was removed from public ministry.
