A fatal house fire in Marrero, Jefferson Parish, claimed a woman's life on May 7th. The fire occurred at 3:15 pm on Sorbonne Drive and was extinguished by the 8th Fire Protection District. The woman was found unresponsive inside the house and pronounced dead at the scene.
