The Texas Rangers acquired outfielder Robbie Grossman from the Chicago White Sox in exchange for minor league right-hander Anthony Hoopii-Tuionetoa. Grossman, who won a World Series title with the Rangers last season, is batting .211 in 25 games for the White Sox this year. The Rangers designated left-handed pitcher Kolton Ingram for assignment to make room for Grossman on their roster.
