Social media influencer Kai Cenat will not face prosecution for inciting a riot and unlawful assembly related to a chaotic giveaway event he promoted in New York City's Union Square last year. The Manhattan District Attorney's Office announced that Cenat will post a public apology on social media and pay $55,000 in restitution for the damaged landscaping. The case will officially be dismissed after the apology has been online for 24 hours. Cenat's event led to 65 arrests, injuries to police officers and civilians, and property damage in the area.
