Parliament's Public Accounts Committee criticized AMA and its auditor for unaccounted GH¢110,000 revenue; auditor given a two-week ultimatum to provide details.
Parliament's Public Accounts Committee (PAC) criticized the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) and its auditor, Ridwan Kokroko, for an unaccounted GH¢110,000 in revenue. The Auditor General's report found that six AMA revenue collectors failed to deposit GH¢151,000 into the assembly's account, with part of the funds retrieved but GH¢110,000 still missing. PAC gave Kokroko a two-week ultimatum to provide details of the missing funds and emphasized the need for prompt action.
