Norwegian oil and gas company Vår Energi sells stakes in five Norne fields to DNO Norge for $51m.

Norwegian oil and gas company Vår Energi has sold stakes in five oil and gas fields in the Norne area in the Norwegian Sea to DNO Norge for $51m. DNO Norge will transfer its stake in the Ringhorne East unit to Vår Energi. The deal supports Vår Energi's strategy to dispose of non-core assets and improve its unit operating costs and emissions intensity outlook. The transaction creates a new core area for DNO in the North Sea.
