Microsoft announces a $3.3bn investment plan in Wisconsin to strengthen its AI-driven economy and job creation. The plan involves $3.3bn in cloud computing and AI infrastructure development, creation of a manufacturing-focused AI co-innovation lab, and an AI skills initiative to equip over 100,000 residents with AI skills by 2030. The investment will be rolled out through a four-part strategy, including a datacenter campus, Data Center Academy, AI Co-Innovation Lab, and community partnerships for skills training and AI adoption.
