Michigan Athletics has hired NFLPA executive Terése Whitehead, a former Michigan grad, as its first on-campus General Manager for Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) deals. This comes as schools are seeking to manage the NIL landscape and athletes earning endorsement money. Whitehead's hiring is part of an agreement with Altius Sports Partners, which will provide consulting and strategic guidance for NIL.
