Longi Green Energy Technology, the world's largest solar panel supplier, has broken the world record for solar panel efficiency with a 27.3% efficiency rate, up from the previous record of 27.1% set in November. The record-breaking achievement was made under laboratory conditions using a crystalline silicon solar cell. The company also showcased a new commercially available cell with a conversion efficiency of 24.43%.
