Conservative MP Natalie Elphicke defects to Labour Party, becoming second Tory MP to do so in two weeks.

Conservative MP Natalie Elphicke has defected to the opposition Labour Party, becoming the second Tory MP to do so in less than two weeks. Ms Elphicke, the MP for Dover, criticised Rishi Sunak's government as "chaotic" and accused the Prime Minister of not being able to "trust with our borders and our NHS". Her defection follows that of Dr Dan Poulter, the MP for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich, who joined the Labour Party last week.
