CFL suspends Toronto Argonauts QB Chad Kelly for 9+ games due to gender-based violence policy violations.

The Canadian Football League (CFL) has suspended Toronto Argonauts quarterback Chad Kelly for at least nine regular-season games, and pre-season games, following its investigation into a lawsuit filed by a former strength-and-conditioning coach against Kelly and the club. The suspension applies due to violations of the CFL's gender-based violence policy. Kelly is required to undergo confidential assessments by an independent expert and attend mandatory counselling sessions conducted by a gender-based violence expert to be considered for reinstatement.
