Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) conducted a voluntary blood donation campaign on May 8, International Thalassemia Day, receiving support from the Central Blood Bank. Around 100 employees participated, with the campaign aiming to help individuals with inherited blood disorders, support surgical procedures, aid accident victims, and address needs from natural disasters. AZAL plans to continue such philanthropic efforts in the future.
