Atlanta Braves left-hander Tyler Matzek has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to left elbow inflammation. Matzek, who had Tommy John surgery in 2022, has an ERA of 9.90 this season. The team recalled left-hander Ray Kerr from Triple-A Gwinnett to address the staff shortage. This follows right-hander Pierce Johnson, who was also placed on the 15-day IL for right elbow inflammation.
