Altera, a company developing digital human beings, completed a $9m seed round, bringing total funding since inception in December 2023 to $11.1m. The round was co-led by Patron and First Spark Ventures, with participation from prominent investors. Altera plans to use the funds to hire more staff and develop innovative, empathetic AI agents for various applications, including gaming.
