33-year-old Sacramento mom, Breanna Mistler, faces assault charges for allegedly abusing her 2-year-old child during a flight from Mexico to Seattle. Multiple witnesses reported the incidents, and upon landing, customs officers found bruises on the child. Mistler was detained and faces one misdemeanor count of assault in a special aircraft jurisdiction. She is expected in court on May 16. The child is under Child Protective Services' supervision.
