70-year-old man, Dawood Bandu Khan, has been arrested by Mumbai police in Agra after a 40-year-old kidnapping and rape case resurfaced. Khan had married the victim, who was a minor at the time, but failed to inform the police and court about the marriage and settlement. Khan was declared an absconder in 2020 and must now undergo trial. The victim's mother had initially filed the complaint in 1984.
