39-year-old George Boyce, a delivery driver, was jailed for two years for following a woman home and assaulting her on her boyfriend's doorstep during a "sinister and bizarre" incident. Boyce claimed he couldn't remember anything about the attack that happened weeks after the murder of teacher Ashling Murphy. He was found by the court to have followed the woman after she refused to engage in conversation with him at 3am.
