34-year-old Caleb Cameron McRae assaulted a grocery store employee with an American flag after attempting to steal a beverage in Asheville, North Carolina. McRae was arrested near a fast food restaurant and faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon, second-degree trespassing, resist, delay or obstruct, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The employee sustained minor injuries.
