Tata Motors, India's largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, recently produced its 9,00,000th vehicle at its Lucknow facility. Established in 1992, the 600-acre plant is recognized as a water-positive facility by CII and houses a 6 MW solar power plant. The facility has produced various types of commercial vehicles, including electric and fuel cell electric buses, with women comprising one-third of its technical workforce.
