Severe storms caused over 18,000 power outages in Missouri, with Pulaski County reporting more than 4,000 outages at the peak of the storms. High winds, some reaching 70mph, accompanied embedded tornadoes in the storm system. Ameren Missouri reported 1,880 customers without electricity as of 5:45 a.m. and the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives reported outages in several counties.
