A male hiker died at Zion National Park's Scout Lookout on Monday after being found unresponsive. Park rangers performed CPR and administered medical aid for nearly 90 minutes, but he was pronounced dead. The West Rim Trail was temporarily closed for rescue operations and has since reopened. The Washington County Sheriff's Office, Utah Office of the Medical Examiner, and the National Park Service are investigating the cause of death.
