Lubbock selects Midland Police Chief Seth Herman as its sole finalist for Lubbock Police Department Chief, to begin June 3.
Lubbock has chosen Seth Herman, current Midland Police Chief with 29 years of experience, as its sole finalist for Chief of the Lubbock Police Department. Herman is set to take over from Interim Police Chief Greg Rushin, who has been in the position since former Police Chief Floyd Mitchell resigned in September. Herman's appointment will be presented to the council for approval, with a start date of June 3.
