Family of five escapes safely after lightning strike causes fire at their Dubuque home early Tuesday morning. Fire crews arrived at the 600 block of Florence Street, confirmed everyone had exited the home safely, and extinguished the fire, which began when lightning struck the house. The home was deemed habitable, and the family returned after firefighters completed their work.
