Infineon Technologies AG lowers revenue forecast to €15.1bn due to weak automotive demand.
Infineon Technologies AG has cut its revenue forecast for the current fiscal year, citing weak demand from the automotive industry. The German chipmaker now expects revenue of €15.1bn ($16.2bn) for the year ending in September, down from its previous estimate of €15.7bn. The company is also implementing a cost-savings programme as it lowers its full-year revenue outlook due to ongoing weak demand across the industry.
