Indian agtech firm BharatRohan, specializing in drone-based hyperspectral remote sensing, has raised $2.3M in pre-IPO funding from investors including Villgro Innovation Foundation, Caspian, RevX, Venture Garage, and high-net-worth individuals. The company plans to develop proprietary edge-computing drones for crop monitoring and variable pesticide application, expanding operations to cover 10 lakh acres in 15 states by 2025. BharatRohan aims to market residue-free farm produce procured under its CropAssure services to global consumers.
