Houston attorney, Jeffrey Limmer, was killed trying to calm an angry customer at a McDonald's in West Houston. Limmer, from Lewis Brisbois law firm, was shot twice by the disgruntled customer who was dissatisfied with his order and arguing with staff. The altercation led both men outside where Limmer pushed the customer to the ground. The suspect retrieved a gun from his car and shot Limmer twice before fleeing the scene.
