Fishhooks in dog treats were found along the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania, near the George W. Outerbridge shelter. The Pennsylvania Game Commission has warned hikers with pets to exercise caution and report any further findings to 1-888-PGC-WILD or 1-888-PGC-HUNT. The treats, which could be fatal to animals, were found near the North Trail Loop leading to the shelter on State Game Lands #217 in Lehigh County.
