A rare Pokémon card collection owned by a Midlands resident has fetched more than £55k at auction, with 15 complete or master sets of Pokémon cards from the late 90s to early 2000s attracting global interest. The 2,407 collectable cards were split into 16 lots and sold at Richard Winterton Auctioneers' sale in Fradley, Staffordshire. A complete Skyridge set sold for £18,000, while a complete Aquapolis set went for £8,000.
